Education and training

A good quality education can help lift people out of poverty. Children and youth in

countries such as Malawi and India receive free education through elementary

school, while accessing high-schools and universities are challenging for most.

Higher education are for most now needed to compete for more stable and income-

generating jobs, but costs for tuition, school materials and learning books are

impossible to cover for many families. In our works we contribute with financial

support and predictability to young people who are motivated for further schooling

and education.

Specifically, it means:

  • Support for school fees through a 3- or 4-year education course in high school

  • Provide for school supplies such as school uniforms, stationery and learning books

  • Provide support to students at university or college level

The youth supported will be followed up by local partners throughout their education,

and will also get the opportunity to participate in other trainings and courses that take

place in the project areas.
