About us

 

Jobs For Development is a nonprofit organization that aims to contribute so that young

people in developing countries can obtain a job and maintain a stable income in order

to provide for themselves and their families. Through education, courses, loan groups

and financial support young people and young adults are assisted to establish and run

their own businesses, and are given follow-up and guidance from local partners in

various villages in Malawi and India. We work through local organizations with good

competence and experience in areas such as education, agriculture and

entrepreneurship, and we contribute together to reach out as many young people as

possible that can need a helping hand. Read more about the various local organizations

Jobs For Development was established in 2019, and the work is today concentrated on

India and Malawi where there are an established good relations after previous works

and visits from some of the board members. Board of Directors in 2020 are

Roar Eriksen, Karsten Degnes, Jon Brakestad and Eivind Lilleaasen.
